Jesus Calls Us
Words: Cecil Frances Humphreys Alexander
Music: Galilee (Jude) | William Herbert Jude
1. Jesus calls us over the tumult
Of our life’s wild, restless, sea;
Day by day His sweet voice soundeth,
Saying, “Christian, follow Me!”

2. As of old Saint Andrew heard it
By the Galilean lake,
Turned from home and toil and kindred,
Leaving all for Jesus’ sake.

3. Jesus calls us from the worship
Of the vain world’s golden store,
From each idol that would keep us,
Saying, “Christian, love Me more!”

4. In our joys and in our sorrows,
Days of toil and hours of ease,
Still He calls, in cares and pleasures,
“Christian, love Me more than these!”

5. Jesus calls us! By Thy mercies,
Savior may we hear Thy call,
Give our hearts to Thine obedience,
Serve and love Thee best of all.
Dare to Stand Like Joshua
Words: C. M. Robinson
Music: Dare to Stand Like Joshua | Peter Philip Bilhorn
1. We are bound for Canaan land, tenting by the way
Who shall lead us on the road? Choose your King today.

2. Many trials we have seen thus far on our way
He hath led us safely through. Shall He lead today?

3. When the dark Red Sea of doubt billowed in our way
Then He parted every wave—so He will today.

4. Can we safely trust a guide who knows not the way?
God hath traveled every foot–He shall lead today.

5. Just before us Jordan rolls, just across the way
We can safely trust the Lord; He shall lead today.

Refrain:
Dare to stand like Joshua; Dare to say the word.
“As for me and for my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Dare to Be Brave
Words: Wilhelmina L. Rooper
Music: Dare to Be Brave | Duncan Clive MacKenzie Hume
1. Dare to be brave, dare to be true;
Strive for the right, for the Lord is with you;
Fight with sin bravely, fight and be strong;
Christ is your captain; fear nought but what’s wrong.

2. Dare to be brave, dare to be true,
Hearken to Conscience, ’tis God’s voice in you;
Though comrades deride and leave you forlorn,
Stand like the hero, unshaken by scorn.

3. Dare to be brave, dare to be true;
God is your Father: He watches o’er you;
He knows your trials; when your heart quails,
Call Him to rescue, His grace never fails.

4. Dare to be brave, dare to be true,
Shun all dishonor, no mean action do;
Bear pain if it comes, with firmness endure,
Hold to your honor, keep your heart pure.

5. Dare to be brave, dare to be true;
Keep the straight way of duty ever in view;
Do all your work as well as you can,
Work for the Lord, not only for man.

6. Dare to be brave, dare to be true;
God grant you courage to carry you through;
Try to help others, be tender and kind;
Let the opprest a strong friend in you find.

7. Dare to be brave, dare to be true,
Think of the Home that’s waiting for you;
Home where the faithful whose battles are o’er
Rest in the Lord in joy evermore.

Refrain:
Fight then, good soldiers, fight and be brave;
Christ is your Captain, mighty to save.
