1. Keep me, Lord, I am Thine own,
A little lamb that’s not full grown.
Help me to be good and kind,
To always listen and to mind.

2. Keep me, Lord, that I’ll not stray;
Thy Word to love and to obey.
Jesus, be my Shepherd Friend;
Upon Thy leading I depend.

3. Keep me, Lord, in Thee I’m strong
Help me to know the right from wrong.
May I come to know Thy joy;
I pray this for each girl and boy.

4. Keep me, Lord, through all my days;
May I grow up to sing Thy praise.
May I always do Thy will;
To yield my heart for Thee to fill.

5. Keep me, Lord, the Devil tries
To take my soul with tempting lies.
May in Thee I overcome,
So Heav’n one day will be my home.
