The Joys I Share

Music: The Joys I Share | O. Talmadge Spence
1. The world may say they have the joys
Of a life that’s satisfied.
But there’s a joy they know not of;
It’s from Jesus the crucified.

2. When things go wrong and friends depart,
I just look to Christ Who brings
The joys that banish every thought
That would keep me His praise to sing.

3. And when the trump of God shall sound
And the dead in Christ shall rise,
These joys will then be ever found
Through eternity in the skies.

Refrain:
I know up in Heaven He’s planned a place
Where I shall see Him, face to face.
The joys I’ll share with my Saviour there
Will be more than the world has known.
