I Hear Thy Welcome Voice
Words: Lewis Hartsough (1828–1919)
Music: I Hear Thy Welcome Voice | Lewis Hartsough (1828–1919)
1. I hear Thy welcome voice
That calls me, Lord, to Thee,
For cleansing in Thy precious blood
That flowed on Calvary.

2. Though coming weak and vile,
Thou dost my strength assure;
Thou dost my vileness fully cleanse,
Till spotless all, and pure.

3. ’Tis Jesus calls me on
To perfect faith and love,
To perfect hope and peace and trust,
For earth and Heav’n above.

4. ’Tis Jesus who confirms
The blessèd work within,
By adding grace to welcomed grace,
Where reigned the power of sin.

5. And He the witness gives
To loyal hearts and free
That every promise is fulfilled,
If faith but brings the plea.

6. All hail! atoning blood!
All hail! redeeming grace!
All hail! the gift of Christ our Lord,
Our Strength and Righteousness.

Refrain:
I am coming Lord!
Coming now to Thee!
Wash me, cleanse me in the blood
That flowed on Calvary!
Pass Me Not, O Gentle Saviour
Words: Frances Jane Crosby
Music: Pass Me Not, O Gentle Saviour | William Howard Doane
1. Pass me not, O gentle Saviour,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

2. Let me at Thy throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief,
Kneeling there in deep contrition;
Help my unbelief.

3. Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by Thy grace.

4. Thou the Spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me,
Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
Whom in Heav’n but Thee?

Refrain:
Saviour, Saviour,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
Hark, and Hear My Trumpet Sounding
Music: Hark, and Hear My Trumpet Sounding
1. Hark and hear my trumpet sounding,
Sounding through your tents aloud;
Hear my voice of solemn warning,
Hear it echo through the crowd.
Turn your hearts where God is calling,
Seek His holy love and fear;
While His solemn truths are rolling,
Know ye, ’tis His word you hear.

2. Listen all who dare to venture
Here amidst the burning flame;
For in truth this blessed fire
Will consume all sin and shame.
Here’s the purifying furnace,
Which will cleanse your souls from sin;
You’ll escape God’s awful Judgments
If you boldly enter in.
