Music: Some Day | O. Talmadge Spence (1926–2000)
1. Some day, I’ll walk down Heaven’s streets of gold
Past mansions to the Throne of God.
Some day, I’ll stand with strength and ne’er grow old,
Rend praise and magnify the Lord.

2. This world in which I live is deep in sin;
The Antichrist will soon appear.
I fear the crash of worlds will soon begin,
And Tribulation shall draw near.

3. In days like these when hope seems almost gone,
I find the words of Jesus true.
“Let not your heart be troubled; trust the Lord.”
He’ll bring you home to Heaven, too.

Refrain:
And the gates of that city shall swing open wide,
And there shall be no night there.
Some day, I’ll walk down Heaven’s streets of gold,
And thank my Saviour for His grace.
